"I just fell in love with this brand," notes Sophie. "I discovered no one was selling them in Australia. We approached Muriel, the brand owner, and she kindly offered us the privilege of being her official Australian supplier."
"They have a fantastic range, and the quality is superb. We started The Love Collection, and things have progressed from there. We now stock approximately thirty different styles of the Lucky Cheeks micro thongs."
Expanding the Product Range
Over time, The Love Collection has branched out to offer a range of female-friendly adult toys and accessories. However, a recent restructure of the business has been implemented.
"We started from the ground up and thought, wow, these things have just got to sell due to the beautiful style and quality. But it's been a fairly long process to gain traction. We found a great adult toy supplier who jumped onboard, offering quality vibrators equal to the big brand names but without the overheads and expensive packaging. I think we were getting away from the niche market we started with, so we've had a recent restructure where The Love Collection is back to only offering luxury lingerie."
"That's not to say we abandoned our adult toy business. We simply created a separate entity online for each niche. So, Sophie Joys Toys is our adult toy venture. Glass Play is our specialty glass sex toy store. Our latest offering is All Things Crotchless. As the name suggests, it's our dedicated crotchless lingerie option."

From a Gold Coast and even Australian perspective, The Love Collection Lingerie is unique. They offer products unavailable elsewhere in the country, and their associated websites are the first to be dedicated to their product offerings.
"Although we're based on the Gold Coast, we offer next-day shipping Australia-wide. For locals, we can arrange collections from our Burleigh warehouse by appointment," Sophie explains.
"Hopefully, we'll reach a stage where we can have a physical retail presence on The Coast. For now, we'll remain an online retailer to reduce costs and offer our products at a more affordable price for our lovely customers. We've recently shipped orders to The Philippines, The UK, and The USA."
"We also hand-pack and gift wrap every pair of knickers we ship discreetly throughout The Gold Coast, Australia, and beyond. Those little touches make a difference."
The Role of Influencers in Marketing
Much of the success of The Love Collection has been due to associations with influencers and adult content creators. Sophie explains...
"Social media has been our only method of affordable advertising as a start-up. We're lucky to have a few local trusted models who are into gifted products, and we all cross-promote each other. They use our products for their social media content and their OnlyFans platforms. We get messages every day from girls who want to collaborate with us. However, we learned early on that it's costly to send products overseas, only to receive one or two pictures in return or get little impact from influencers who don't realize it works both ways. Most had a huge social media following, but to us, those numbers are irrelevant when you can discover local Australian girls with a limited following who will stick by you and work together to promote each other."
